Melanie Hyde is a NYC filmmaker. She grew up in the Bay Area in California and graduated from Drexel University, majoring in Film & TV Production in Philadelphia, PA.

She began her career as a local sports camera operator, screenwriter, and story developer in California and has since worked in various departments on films, TV shows, commercials, and social media videos in NYC and internationally (e.g., CBS's FBI Most Wanted, the United Nations, ABC News, One World Trade, etc.).

As a Photographer, she covers events, corporate shoots, portraits, and Red Carpets (e.g. Tribeca Film Festival,

TJ Maxx, Asian American International Film Festival, Philippines Consulate, PWHL, etc ).

She is also an NYS EMT-B and Non-Union Set Medic. She works on a variety of shoots, including commercials and web series (e.g. Hot Ones, Calvin Klein, Aritzia, Money Lion, etc).
