Melanie Hyde is a NYC filmmaker. She grew up in the Bay Area in California and graduated from Drexel University, majoring in Film & TV Production in Philadelphia, PA.

She started her work as a local sports camera operator in California and has gone on to produce award-winning and nominated films & screenplays internationally. She has worked on numerous film projects, including Union and Non-Union Films, TV shows, and Commercials (e.g., Iceberg, ABC News, BBC Maestro, One World Trade, CBS's FBI Most Wanted, United Nations General Assembly, etc.). ​

As a Photographer, she covers events, commercial and corporate shoots, Portraits, and Red Carpets, including the Tribeca Film Festival, the Christian Rivera Gala, and the Asian American International Film Festival.
